Modern Slavery Statement 2024

This Modern Slavery Statement (“Statement”) has been prepared in accordance with section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. It is valid for the fiscal year of 2024, ending on Decembre 31st, 2024.

This Statement is made on behalf of YOOZ (SAS) and related entities (“YOOZ”).

It aims to present the measures taken by YOOZ in order to assess and mitigate the potential risks of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking within our operations and supply chain

WHAT IS MODERN SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING?

Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking can take many forms including the trafficking of people, forced labor, servitude and slavery. It is an international crime, affecting over 40 million people around the world. It is a global problem that transcends age, gender and ethnicity. It is not an issue confined to history or an issue that only exists in certain countries. It is something that is still happening today.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE AND SUPPLY CHAIN

YOOZ was founded in France in 2014. It is a leader in e-invoicing and purchase-to-pay (P2P) automation, delivering its services to more than 5,000 customers and 300,000 users, across 44 countries worldwide.

Our external suppliers are mostly French, UK and US companies in low risk sectors, such as technology and professional services. However, we understand that a slight risk for Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking can remain in our supply chain, which needs to be addressed accordingly.

POLICIES IN RELATION TO SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

YOOZ has a zero-tolerance approach for all violations to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking laws. We expect and warrant all our suppliers to comply with applicable laws, including laws relating to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. If necessary, in case of breach of this legislation, we would take the necessary steps to make sure our suppliers can improve their practices and become compliant with this legislation.

YOOZ also takes Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) issues very seriously. This is why we have completed the necessary steps in order to obtain our EcoVadis certification.

YOOZ has also been certified as a Great Place to Work for several years in a row, ensuring the highest standards possible of quality of life at work for our people.

These certifications allow us to further improve our practices regarding Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking throughout our organization and our supply chain.

DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES

At YOOZ, we deeply value engaging with partners that are compliant with all applicable laws, including those relating to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.

We encourage all our suppliers and partners to put in place and keep up-to-date policies designed to prevent the risks associated with Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. We also warrant our suppliers and partners to take all necessary steps to ensure there is no violation of the Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking laws taking place in their organization, and in their supply chain.

RISK ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT

We strongly encourage anyone to bring to our attention any violation of the laws relating to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking in our operations or our supply chain, as we try to quickly identify and minimize those risks.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS TO MEASURE EFFECTIVENESS OF STEPS BEING TAKEN

On the date of publication of this Statement, YOOZ has not detected any case of Modern Slavery nor Human Trafficking.

TRAINING ON MODERN SLAVERY AND TRAFFICKING

If necessary, YOOZ can provide periodic training to its relevant employees on the subject of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. This can help address the risks and increase education and awareness.
